Job Summary
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the air cargo industry, developing key partnerships, and driving sales growth for the airline's network. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, a strategic approach to business development, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business success.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the air cargo industry, including expanding networks for airlines through new partnerships and associations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners to ensure long-term success.
- Generate leads through networking, industry events, and market research.
- Prepare and present air cargo solutions to management and potential clients.
- Negotiate pricing, close deals, and ensure agreements are aligned with company goals.
- Track sales performance and report on key metrics.
- Collaborate with operations, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- Previous experience in air cargo, logistics, freight forwarding, or the airline industry.
- Proven track record of success in business development and sales.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- In-depth knowledge of air cargo and freight forwarding processes.
- Strong sales acumen and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with preparing presentations and public relations activities.
- Proficiency in graphic design and the creation of visual materials (optional).
